My Story

I grew up in the Buffalo, New York area but most of my family now live here in Washington State. My wife Marsha grew up in Spokane and we have lived here for about 28 years. We have 4 grown children, 3 son-in-laws, 1 daughter-in-law, and 7 grandchildren. I love Spokane and enjoy hiking, boating, exercising, racquetball, biking and fishing although I tend to feed the fish more than I catch them.

My education and experience

I was an electronic technician, mostly at Sears, for about 15 years. That job was phased out because most electronics are "throw away" these days. I have served as a scoutmaster several times through the years and have enjoyed many campouts and helping boys become men. I was a volunteer Guardian ad Liten for the Spokane County Juvenile Court System for 10 years helping families & children. It has been rewarding to see people turn their lives around. I graduated from SFCC in business and I enjoy learning new things. My wife and I have bought and remodeled 4 homes--kept 2 for rentals and sold 2.
