I have been a resident of Eastern Washington for over 30 years and have found it to be an excellent place to live and raise my family of five children. I love the outdoors and the vast opportunities the Spokane area offers to engage in outdoor recreation. Yesterday, walking my dog around our neighborhood, I saw a bald eagle soaring overhead! I also appreciate the rich culture of the arts in Spokane, especially our outstanding symphony. As a person with a long-time interest in helping children to succeed in school, I obtained a Masters in Teaching degree from Whitworth College in 1997. It became apparent from my subsequent years in substitute teaching that many students needed a helping hand to achieve their goals of obtaining a college education. With the goal of helping kids succeed, I obtained my real estate license in 2005 and established the Grace Scholarship Fund to help students who were entering college to pursue a degree in health care. Real Estate has proven to be both challenging and rewarding. I have had the pleasure of working with many wonderful people and helping them to achieve their goals. I promise to respond to your inquiries in a timely manner and to promptly respond to voice-mails, e-mails, and text messages. My goal is to make your real estate experience the best you have ever had.

Subsequently, I earned the NAR e-Pro designation as well as the EcoBroker designation, similar to the NAR Green designation. The coursework that needed to be completed for these designations prepared me for working with the internet generation as well as those people who, like myself, think green. In particular, the EcoBroker course covered all facets of energy saving, as well as mold remediation, radon mitigation and other areas that might need to be addressed in a real estate transaction. In addition, I was pointed to resources that my clients could use to further their knowledge. I have also completed the certification course At Home With Diversity because I believe that it is important to treat all people equally in order to ensure fair housing for all. I have served on the Fair Housing committee at the Spokane Association of REALTORS and strongly believe in continual education and awareness of all fair housing represents.
In the fall of 2010, I received the SRES(Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation in order to better understand and serve the needs of the increasing numbers of seniors in our community. I have the information necessary to assist seniors with all facets of the housing experience, including re-sizing or right-sizing, aging-in-place, and multiple-family and multigenerational dwellings. I am continually pursuing further education and am planning to earn the NAR Green designation. Whether you want a home that is energy efficient already or wish to know how to remodel for energy efficiency, I can help you in your search. With my education and training, attention to detail, enthusiasm, and perseverance, I am well qualified to help you achieve your real estate goals. I am excited to use the latest technology to market listings of sellers as well as to find buyers the perfect property. I am excited about the technological changes that have occurred in the real estate industry and seek to learn about the newest and latest technology available and utilize it to benefit my clients.
